Our services

We are a welcoming, open congregation and we extend a warm welcome to visitors with us.

Please feel free to be yourself and join in where you are comfortable.

If you'd like to know more about us , please read further on this website or speak to the Minister.

We meet together to worship on Sunday mornings. Our service times are:
Caerlaverock Church: 9.45-10.45am
St Mary’s-Greyfriars’ Church: 11.30am-12.30pm

The St Mary’s-Greyfriars’ Sunday Kids meet in the church hall at 11.15am and join the rest of the church for the first part of the service before returning to the hall to learn and have fun.

Other services

We meet in the church hall for a Communion service and soup at 12.15pm on the last Monday of April and October.

We hold a 2pm service in Parkhead Court on the second Sunday of the month. Everyone is very welcome at these services.

Advent and Lent Reflections take place and additional services at Christmas. The dates and times are arranged and advertised nearer the time.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper during morning worship on the last Sunday of April and October.

We also have a house-based "Reflections Group", a Bible study, which meets monthly.

Special service for Pentecost
The Moderator of the General Assembly, the Right Reverend Dr Martin Fair, is leading a special service for Pentecost Sunday, this Sunday, 31st May 2020. The Moderator’s hopes for this are that it will glorify God and deepen our sense of dependence on the Spirit Unite us across the nation in these strangest of days.
