- Please see the posters giving details of the services being held in our town during Holy Week.
- Lent Group: The final day of study for Lent is next Sunday, April 3, in the small hall at 10am for (approx 45min) followed by tea/coffee and fellowship. An informal time of study and discussion.
- The Gardening Club meet in the hall this Wednesday at 2pm for a Taylor-made afternoon of entertainment.
- There is a social and fundraising committee meeting on Thursday April 2 at 7.15pm in the small hall.
- The Buzz coffee morning, the annual fundraising event, is on Saturday April 4, 10am to 12noon with the usual stalls – sales table, £1, books, CDs and videos. Your donations to the stalls and baking for the tables would be greatly appreciated, also help for setting up, serving and washing up etc would be welcomed. The hall will be open 6-7pm on Friday to receive donations and for setting up.
- Christian Aid: The final soup 'n' roll Lunch for Christian Aid is in St John's Church hall on Friday April 3 12noon to 1.30pm. Homemade soup, cheese or plain roll, tea/coffee, also a sales table. Tickets £2.50, children £1. Organised by Dumfries and District Churches. Catering – Troqueer Church. Sales table – Max West Church.
