- Lent Group: A Study for Lent continues on Sunday March 22 in the small hall at 10am for (approx ¾ hour) followed by tea/coffee and fellowship. An informal time of study and discussion using the CWR Lent Study Guide 'The time has come'. Copies available at Kings Bookshop (£5.99).
- The Guild meets on Tuesday evening in the small hall at 7.30pm, Members' night - Round robin stories. Guild: St Mary's-Greyfriars' Guild members are invited to Lincluden Ladies Club on March 26, Spectrum; New Abbey Guild on March 31, Troqueer Praise Group. Please contact Rosalind Fraser on 268393.
- The church Gardening Club eagerly anticipate the return of Mr Duncan Ford a veritable Garden Guru this Wednesday. March 18, at 2pm in the hall. All welcome.
- Table-top sale in the church hall on Saturday March 28 from 9.30am-12.30pm. Tables £10 & £8, entry 50p, T/C & biscuits £1. Help please on Friday 6pm to set up tables & Saturday at 12.30pm to dismantle. Contact Les on 263102.
- Christian Aid: Soup 'n' Roll Lunches for Christian Aid continue in St John's Church hall on Friday March 20 and run through Lent each Friday until April 3, 12 noon to 1.30pm. Homemade soup, cheese or plain roll, tea/coffee, also a sales table. £2.50, children £1. Organised by Dumfries and District Churches. Catering - St Michael's Church. Sales table - Kirkmahoe Church.
