5. This is the last day for items for the February church magazine to be handed to Marion and please note that items direct to David MUST reach him by 3pm on Tuesday January 20.
6. The Guild will meet on Tuesday January 20 from 1.30-3.30pm in the small hall. Note the different time for one meeting only. Robert Lind, our church organist, will be our entertainer and we look forward to seeing a good crowd to hear him play. All are welcome to come along - whether Guild members or visitors.
7. The Worship Group will meet on Tuesday January 20 at 7pm in the Session House.
8. A new session of our popular Gardening Club meets in the hall at 2pm this Wednesday and everyone is invited.
9. There will be a meeting of the business committee on Wedneday January 21 at 4.30pm in the Session House.
10. The Rev Jamie's Introduction to St Marnock's Church, Kilmarnock is at 7pm on Thursday January 22.
11. The much anticipated Desert Island Discs evening sans Sue Lawley will take place in the hall on Wednesday January 28 at 7.30pm. Admission including refreshment is £2 for Christian Aid.
12. Tabletop sale in St Mary's-Greyfriars' church hall on Saturday January 31 9.30 am to 12.30pm, tables £8 & £10, entry 50p, T/C bisc. £1.
13. Enquirer's Conference on Friday February 6 and Saturday February 7 at Tulliallan Training Centre (free). Speak to David Matheson or Donald Campbell if you are interested. See poster in church entrance.
14. Dumfries Christian Council - service of prayer for Christian Unity is this afternoon in St George's Church at 3pm. See posters in vestibule and hall.
