- Christianity Explored continues Thursday November 20 at 7.30pm in the church hall.
- As in previous years, the communication and publication committee intend to deliver an invitation card, with details of our church services, to all homes within our parish boundaries. We are in need of volunteers to help us with this task. If you might be able to assist, please leave your name on the clipboard in the vestibule today. For more information, please speak to Tom Evans, Anne Twiname or Marion Bennett.
- The 'Buzz' meeting is tomorrow, Monday, at 2pm in the small hall - Tearcraft & Tearfund with Rosemary & Rolf Buwert. Everyone is welcome.
- On November 18 the Guild are having a social evening during Guild Week. Entertainment will be The Annan Singers who are regulars at making an evening go with a swing. We welcome visitors to join us. The evening will be co-hosted with Maxwelltown West Guild. All Guilds in the Presbytery have been invited and a buffet supper will be served. Donations welcomed in support of Guild charities. Kings Bookshop will be present, also a Guild sales table. Please bring something to sell.
- Our Christmas Bazaar is on Saturday December 6 from 10am to 12 noon in the hall (proceeds in aid of church funds). Tea/coffee and home baking £1.50. Stalls: Cake & candy, crafts, surplus gifts (new), plants, £1, produce, books, DVDs, CDs etc. Your donations to the stalls would be greatly welcomed, also baking for the tables. Assistance for setting up and dismantling the hall please; the hall will be open from 6pm to 7pm on Friday December 5.
- St Andrew's Night - Let's celebrate! (see poster) concert in Barbour Hall Glencaple on Friday November 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 from Anne Twiname or at the door in aid of Caerlaverock Church funds.
- Christian Care for Homeless People presents Dumfries Male Voice Choir in Dumfries Baptist Church on Friday November 28 at 7.30pm Tickets £4, see Anne T.
- The Sunday Sweep: 'The People's Project' is a local initiative designed to help clean up our town and countryside whilst we are walking. It involves working together to pick up litter as we go and put it in the bin. There has been a request made to all the churches in the town that as we come and go to church we work together by tidying our streets of litter.
