- Guild: Meeting on Tuesday October 21 at 7.30pm, speaker Brian McBride from Mission Aviation Fellowship. Open to men and women.
- There will be a meeting of the Business Committee on Monday November 3 at 7.30pm in the Session House.
- Today is the deadline for items for the November church magazine to be handed in at church - to Marion please, and to David by e-mail Thursday October 23.
- The November coffee morning (proceeds in aid of church funds) is on Saturday November 1, 10am to 12 noon in the hall; usual stalls - sales table, £1, books and CDs.

- To ensure that our filled shoeboxes, being delivered by Blythswood, reach their destination for Christmas we need to have them in Church by Sunday November 2 (two weeks) There are still leaflets available in the vestibule or see Anne T.
- Christian Care for Homeless People presents Dumfries Male Voice Choir in Dumfries Baptist Church on Friday November 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets £4, see Anne T.

- Roderick and Michael Williamson would like to thank members very much indeed for their wonderful support in connection with their participation in the recent Male Race. They enjoyed running the race on a beautiful morning, both finished in a good time, and raised almost £200 for the good causes. If you still have to make your donation then please could you see Roderick after the service.
