- Coming soon: Christianity Explored. Starts on Thursday September 11 at 7.30pm in the church halls; this is a great course that helps us to investigate the Christian faith further; all welcome and please encourage a friend or neighbour to come along.
- The Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the close of ordinary worship on Sunday August 31. The Lord's Table is open to all who love Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
- There is a Fairtrade meeting in our small hall on Wednesday August 20 at 7.30pm. There will be a Fairtrade stall.
- Items for the September church magazine to be handed in at church by next Sunday August 24 to Marion.
- There will be a meeting of the business committee on Tuesday August 26 at 7.30pm in the choir area of the church. If you are unable to attend please ask someone else from your committee to take your place.
- The Guild Outing to DS Smith Special Packaging, Lockerbie is on Tuesday August 26. Please meet at the factory for a 7pm tour. Catherine Nicholson on 265422.
- Fund Raising: Quizzes a) Christian Aid : Flowers - 'In a Scottish Country Garden' b) Fairtrad : Relates to Fairtrade products. See posters and quiz sheets in the vestibule.
- St Michael's and South Parish Church today in the grounds of Georgetown Community Centre at 2.30pm - a Songs of Praise with 'Revival'. See posters in vestibule for details of charities.
- Copies of 'The Word for Today' are available in the vestibule.
