- Coming soon: Christianity Explored. Starts on Thursday September 11 at 7.30pm in the church halls; this is a great course that helps us to investigate the Christian faith further; all welcome and please encourage a friend or neighbour to come along.

- Scottish Bible Society Annual Collection: house to house Monday August 18 - Friday August 22, street collection is on Saturday August 23. Assistance from anyone who would like to volunteer would be welcomed. Please contact Isobel Evans on 263630 if you are able to help by Sunday August 10.

- St Michael's and South Parish Church: a) Friday August 15 in Georgetown Community Centre at 7.30pm - 'A Scottish Night'. b) Saturday August 16 in the church hall 10am to 12 noon - a coffee morning. c) Sunday August 17 in the grounds of Georgetown Community Centre at 2.30pm - a Songs of Praise with 'Revival'. See posters in vestibule for details of charities.
