Daily Bible verse

29"I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel
30will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields - and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

Offerings
As we near the end of another year, this is the ideal time to think of starting to give to the church by Weekly Freewill Offering. Anyone wishing to join the scheme for 2009 is asked to contact John Wright on 251574 or any Elder. If you would like more information on the scheme and how it works, John will be more than pleased to talk to you.

The use of Freewill Offering envelopes is most helpful in the essential budgeting which is required and we commend this method of giving to all those who regularly put cash in the collection plate. Giving by this method can also be combined with the Gift Aid scheme. Further details on this are available on request.

Weekly Freewill Offering envelopes for 2009 for those already in the scheme will be available for collection in the church vestibule from Sunday December 7.
