Social update
The following events are planned in the coming weeks:
Walking treasure hunt - Thursday May 22: How well do you know our ain toon? Enjoy a walk and find out a bit about the history by using the clues to find the locations. Set off from the hall at approximately 6.30pm and then return to the hall where a spot of light supper can be enjoyed. There is no cost for this event but donations towards church funds would be appreciated.
Annual Barbecue - Friday July 11, Mabie Forest, from 6.30pm: Come and enjoy the outdoors and food in friendly company at the BBQ area just below the sawmill. You may wish to make use of the facilities on offer at the forest, such as forest walks, cycle trails, or just sit back and relax whilst listening to the sounds of chatter - not from the birds but from ourselves. Should the weather be inclement, this event will be held in the hall. The cost of this event is £5 per adult but no charge for children.
