Proposed community/meeting space
The existing floor area of our church building is extensive, but unfortunately suffers through restrictive limitations in the layout of the vital church entrance/departure vestibule.
The Congregational Board has suggested the formation of two spaces at the rear interior corners of the church to afford social interaction in a comfortable ambience.
The areas involved measure 2.82m (9'3") wide by 2.57m (8'5") deep, and this alteration would involve the removal of two small side pews in each corner.
It is felt that this provision would indeed be an improvement in our facilities and an obvious benefit to the congregation. This seminal idea is offered as a suggestion and your comments on the removal of these pews would be appreciated. Please feel free to speak to any of our church duty team.
A small-scale drawing is displayed in the vestibule, adjacent to both church entrance doors.
